With its headquarters established in limassol, Cyprus in January 1991, Unicom managed 20 dry-cargo vessels and around 40 employees in its office. In 1994 has managed to purchase Acomarit's 70% stakehold and since then has steadily grown into one of the most reputable ship management companies within the sector. At present UNICOM provides full management for more than 70 vessels(tankers, container-carriers, dry-cargo multipurpose vessels and passenger vessels).
